Updates for Lexus or Toyota usually become available during the fall, so it’s best to be aware of the release timing. Most drivers will not experience a significant mapping change with an update so most people do not need to update the Navigation map every year.

This disc works on all Lexus and Toyota navigation systems using Generation 3 navigation technology. This includes the following vehicles:

2001 through 2004 ES/GS models
2001 through 2003 RX300
2001 through 2003 LX470
GX470 through 2004 models
Land Cruisers through the 2003 model year
Any other Lexus or Toyota using “Data version 03.1″ or older

This does not cover 2005 and 2006 models, which now use generation 4 discs, and some 2004 models can have either a generation 3 or a generation 4 system, so please check with the dealer prior to purchasing.
